Our Volunteer Day Scheme at Key Forensic Services continues to amaze.

Project & Site Facilities Manager at our Warrington lab, Nerys Aird, enjoyed two fantastic days with Outside Lives in Maeshafn and has kindly shared her experience.

“Outside Lives makes a difference for people navigating mental health challenges like dementia, depression and life struggles,” says Nerys.

“Set within a woodland area with stunning views of Moel Famau, there are daily activities for individuals, such as garden and woodland maintenance or lunch preparation using the produce grown on this land.

“I assisted with path weeding and shed clearing, and met some incredible individuals.

“I’ve also come away with some parsley and sweet pepper plants that I hope will flourish.”

Well done, Nerys!

All KFS staff are eligible to apply for our Volunteer Day Scheme, and we hope to bring you more successful stories like Nerys’s.
